(work-from-home) Information Researcher (volunteer)

At Child & Family Connections, we believe that everyone thrives when the work is important, challenging, rewarding, and fun. So our volunteers are treated like staff, given the same level of responsibility (and accountability) and access to leadership and organizational information as part of our team. Our staff all work virtually, usually from the comfort of home or anywhere else conducive to doing great work. This allows us to dedicate nearly all of our funding to direct service programs, helping families at risk. The ability (and interest) in working independently is required. For the most part, you can make your own hours. Not a morning person? No problem! Prefer working from the comfort of your home or from your favorite coffee shop? You decide!

The Role

The Data Research Associate will manage and conduct web-based research to identify corporate information for our very first donor campaign. We request at least ten hours per week, on average but we can be flexible for a person with talent.

You will work with our Board member, Patty, who leads the campaign.

If you are local to Philadelphia, we hope you will join us at company events and to learn how Child & Family Connections is making an impact and improving the lives of vulnerable families living with parental mental illness.

Skills & Experience Sought

  • Intellectually curious, focused, and resourceful
  • Exceptional web-based research skills
  • A college student or college graduate
  • Attention to detail
  • A high degree of integrity and trustworthiness is critical

  • 7-10+ hours/week
